as for me, if i have to take my head out of the buzz on any given afternoon, hanging around in malls & commercial eateries just wont do it for me.... those r times when i'd sit myself in some hotel lounge within vicinity, sip on camomile, enjoy the light lounge music & go into higher state of consciousness

I like Jackson plan, clean, spacious and colorful. Interesting british food. Cliquewise.sg has ran a singles high tea event at Jackson plan before. Good ambience, food and service!

Saw this new place at Katong (Kuche Bar Bistro). Quite cosy and they just open few weeks ago. Serve beer and very good authentic pasta.

Had Erdinger and Pasta. Good for late lunch and chill out. And they have a pool table upstair, good for chillout. Not to mention the good service rendered to me. Will be visiting them shortly.

If you are into a nice quiet location, nestled amongst greenery and nice architecture, with great afternoon refreshments, try Laurent Bernard's Chocolate Confectionary in Portsdown Road... where the Wessex Estate is located.
