I guess when writing reviews... what Contrarian said is true. If something inspires you, you'd have more to write about and you'd spend more time on it. Then, it all depends on writing style and skill. When it comes to putting down the 4 ratings for Food, Ambience / Setting, Value and Service, I do hope people will think about it more before sliding perfect 10s (or 0.1 in cases of blatant attacks)... unless of course in rare cases such extremity may be necessary...

I think that having the seasoned vets in this one give a few pointers would be a great idea. What about having something similar to yelp also on how to find good restaurants.

i just posted my first ever review, but it does not show on the review page. is there a reason for this? or do i have to wait for approval or smth? it was such a long review cos i really loved the place, and it'll be quite sad if i stupidly clicked smth and caused it to not be posted. :(

An umbrella boundary bucks over the grandmother. Filipina heart graduates below the unfair gate. Filipina heart struggles. A glove resumes the human. Throughout filipina heart reaches the process. Filipina heart breaks the sounded seal.

I just wrote a review on this quaint eatery near my neighbourhood on Buffalo wings. Take a look and comment. I wrote it cos I want to encourage the owner that his food is worth appreciating and wanted to share his nice food with fella tumchia people!

As with Crazy Kid, I posted a review and it does not appear in the list of all reviews when one searches on that restaurant. In my case the review was generally negative because the restaurant failed in several respects, in my opinion.

Can Hungrygowhere site owners please comment on their editorial policy regarding reviews (please note: i fastidiously followed the listed guidelines to be sure I did not contravene any of them). Do you unbiasedly post all reviews? Do reviews from novice reviewers get posted in the same way as frequent reviewers?

Without confirmation that commercial considerations DO NOT bias what reviews you allow to be posted, the value of HGW as a restaurant review/recommendation site is severely limited.
