   Is This a Joke?

   This is by far the worst food Groupon I've ever bought.  For $10, you get a soup, spaghetti and a choice of ribs or chicken. Well, it sounded like a good deal and the name of the place sounded decent enough. But, it was a total waste of my life being there.
   
   Firstly, the place was quite dirty. The plastic seats had soiled individual cushions on them. My kids were screaming to get out of that place and go to the restaurant next door, but I had bought the voucher so well... My son wanted to pee so I brought him to the toilet and found it to be covered with water and pee. I have visited other eateries along this stretch, and none have had such dirty toilets. Upon stepping out of the toilet, I was worried about the kitchen cleanliness and felt sorry I had to put my kids through this.
   
   Upon returning to my table, the cream of mushroom soup had arrived. It was definitely DILUTED CAN SOUP. It was watery and tasteless. I was worried about the amount of sodium I would be taking in. The spaghetti came shortly after. I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry. It was amateurish, even worse than food court standard. The sauce was some ketchup with minced pork, not even bottled bolognaise.
   
   The ribs was the only redeeming dish but still nothing fantastic. Grilled chicken drumstick had rubbery meat. I felt utterly nauseated after the meal. Literally. Having tea now to cleanse my system.
   
   This meal is not even worth it at Groupon pricing. Although service was acceptable, there is no other reason to visit this place.

      Weighty Man Haha, that's funny! Yes not all groupons are good - check out the reviews on HGW first before buying.

      princessgx Hi Weighty Man, I usually do check out HGW before buying a deal. But it so happens that this place didn't have any reviews then and the ratings seemed ok. The pics on Groupon were also sooooo deceiving. Compare alq77(below)'s pics with the ones on Groupon! The pasta on Groupon looked cheesy and baked. And the ribs on Groupon was twice this size!

      KK Tan 904 I was there late last year also with the coupon, i would say that i have not have the good fortune to step into the toilet... place was kopi tiam setting but appropriate for the price $10 (never expect 5* ambience for the price i paid) generally good value, i found the ribs to be very well prepared... and u can even buy beer from the 7 eleven nearby coz Leonardo's dun sell alcohol
